Monitor my machines

Choose the right site and interpret the initial indicators without confusing missing data, simulation and machine status.

Before you begin

  • Have access rights to view the site and configured machines.
  • Know the source of the data: actual machine or demonstration.

Steps

  1. Select site

Open the health dashboard and then check the selected site. The equipment displayed depends on your access permissions.

  2. Check the collection

Before interpreting a metric, check that the connection is working and that the measurements from the relevant machine are up to date. A lack of data does not necessarily indicate that production has stopped.

  3. Inspect the machine

Select the equipment and then the components to be examined in the available views. Put a variation in load or speed back into its operational context.

  4. Compare over time

Check the history where available. Compare relevant periods or operations before concluding that a drift has occurred.

  5. Decide on the next steps

Document the observation and cross-check it against on-site evidence. An alert guides an investigation; it does not, on its own, constitute a definitive diagnosis or an automatic instruction to take action.

Expected result

The first indicators are linked to an identified machine, time period and data source.

If this does not work

If nothing appears, check the selected industrial site, your access rights, the data collection settings and the period displayed. Simulation results do not constitute evidence of industrial performance.
